Page 1 of 2 Helicraft was the first piloting school, employing only helicopters, opened in the province of Quebec. His founder Mr. Lucien LEVROT, created this training unit in 1969 with the objective of being able to share his passion. From then on, and even after his death, Helicraft keep transmitting his knowledge, his experience and his passion to the new generations of pilots.
Since the 90s, Helicraft have developed the finest tools to offer an effective training to its students helping them to be well prepared for the helicopter industry. Since the beginning of 2006, a new building has been built to assure at its best our expansion and offer more than ever an irreproachable quality of service. Since 2001, our school is a part of a holding including 5 other companies through CANADA. In total, the ALLARD group owns close to one hundred helicopter. Helicraft is, as for it, equipped of 17 helicopters (8 pistons and 9 turbines). - 1 Eurocopter Twinstar (Biturbines)

Located at few kilometres of Montreal, our base of St-Hubert is easily accessible by public transports and will allow you to learn how to work with the control towers of Montreal and its other surrounding airports. When you will arrive at Helicraft, you will find a young and dynamic team that, thanks to its experience on the field, will know how to train you adequately to reach the standards expected by the ALLARD group, and therefore make it easy for you to go on the helicopter industry. We offer many types of trainings in our school:
- Private pilot
- Professional pilot
- Plane / Helicopter conversion (Canadian)
- Foreign licence / Canadian licence conversion
- Preparation for the airline pilot exam
- IFR
- Flight instructor qualification
We also offer you the opportunity of doing many types of endorsements, on turbines or bi turbines, and a stage of specialised work like: - Fight for forests fires (Bambi Bucket short and long line)
- Sling (long line)
- Flight with floats
- Agricultural spreading technique
Familiarisation week : If you wish to meet us in Montreal before taking your decision, and also have the opportunity to discuss with our students and discover our school, come do the familiarisation week. During that week, you will have 4 hours of flight training on Robinson 22 (Beta II) or Hughes 300CBi and 5 hours of ground school. Those hours are deductible from a future training. You will be lodged in the hotel located near our base. We will assure the transportation from the airport to the hotel.
